SUICIDE AT TE KUITI
VICTIAFS HALLUCINATIONS.
ARAMOHO MURDER MENTIONED. Te Kuiti, Last Night. At the inquest to-day on Patrick Duffy, avlio committed suicide yesterday by swallowing half a four ounce bottle of Lysol, the principal witness was R. J. Ferriss, a labourer, Avho said he knew deceased slightly. Duffy accosted him in the Main Street, saying: “All the detectives and police in New Zealand are after me. Detectives from Wanganui too.” He gaA'e witness £ll and his watch to mind. Duffy did not return and the money was handed to the police. The police stated that Duffy was labourer, employed at Mahoenui by the Public Works and came from WJuuigamomona, in the Wanganui district. Nothing was known against him, and lie had no relatives in the Dominion. A verdict of suicide by a self-ad-ministered dose of Lysol, while depressed was returned.
