The second day of the Wellington Racing Club’s summer meeting was held on Thursday. The weather was fine, but bleak and the attendance fair. The following are tin 1 results. — Mungaroa High weight Handicap: Enure 1, Carawock 2, Vagabond 3. Won l»y 2 lengths. Time 2.12 1-5. January "Welter Handicap: Passionless i, Fevnnz 2, Kerb 3. Won by a length and a-half. Time 1.45 4-5. Nursery Handicap: —Gaillanl 1, Lady Bentinek 2, Bonideer 3. Won by half a length. Time 53 4-5 see. 'Trial Plate:—Sir Pam 1, Eut-re Nous 2, Glimpse 3. Won by a length and a-half. Time 1.27 1-5. Wellington Racing Club Handicap: —Gold Light 1. Enthusiasm 2, Roseday 3. Won by three lengths. Time 2.13 3-5. Douro Cup:—Peuelophon 1, Zero Hour 2, Last Crust 3. Won by two lengths. Tme 1.40 4-5. Metropolitan Handicap:— Santonio 1, Glentruin 2, Civility 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.10 2-5. Camp Handicap:—Bugle Note 1, Ivilris 2, Parorangi 3. Won by a neck. Time 1.11 4-5.
