SHOPPING HOURS FOR NEW YEAR.
The focal Retailers’ Association has decided that the shops will close ns follows for the New Year holidays :
All grocers close at 5.30 to-night and Monday night and at 8 o’clock on Saturday, January sth.
Drapers will close at 5.30 thi- s evening and at 8 p.ni, on Monday, 31st., and 5.30 p.m. on Saturday, January sth.
Owing to the drapers and grocers being under different awards these hours have to be observed.
