SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. Tke-seeond .day of the Manawatu Racing Club’s Summer Meeting was held on Thursday in perfect weather and before a. large attendance. The racing was of an attractive variety. The totalisatnr handled £34,805 for the day, compared with £37439 last yTsar, a decrease of £2,634. Results are as follows: — Kelvin Handicap:—Sensible 1, Stream 2, Cherry 3. Highway was fourth. Won by half a length, a similar distance separating second and third horse. Time lmin. 49 2-5 seconds. High Weight Handicap: —Santiago 1, Bonibrook 2, Sir Roseberrv 3. Won by half a length, a length between second and third. Time.2 min. 12sec. Highden Handicap:—Rene Mavis 1, Geranial 2. Waetea 3. Won by a head, ir simdar distance between second and-third.
