HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The" High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 22nd December, reads: — “Hemp, Manila market, firm demand continues for all descriptions. ‘J’ grade spot sold at £33 15/-, buyers now offer £34 15/- for Jan-uary-Mareh shipments. ‘G’ grade quoted at £4O and values. New Zealand market no business reported but prices quoted are higher. High point £33 15/-, fair £3115.”
