Ronald Dalton, a prefect at the Ashburton Technical School, who was journeying by train from his village home at Hinds, picked up from the„cai‘riage floor a fat wallet, lie went twice through the train, inquiring if anybody hah lost it. A business man, feeling his pockets, discovered his wallet missing. It contained about £IOO. Dalton stubbornly declined a reward, bnt the owner declares he will hear from him at Christmas.
