WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS

The concert given in the Town Hall on Tuesday night by Mr Branscombe’s Westminster Glee Singers was the most talented combination of vocalists which Ims visited this town and those present were thrilled with delight. As “good wine needs no hush” we are not going to reeaptitulate the criticisms of leading journals throughout the Empire, except to say that those who were not present missed one of the musical treats of a life time. There was not a large audience, due probably to so many counter attractions during the past week or two and to the near approach of the festive season expenditure but those who made a little sacrifice in this connection were amply repaid. The meagre attendance, however, may prejudice other first-class companies from including Foxton in their tours.
