A picture with a moral expressed in comedy vein for young wives and girls who are about to step into urn trimonin i state is registered with telling effect in “Dangerous Curves Ahead,” starring at the Royal Theatre to-night. Helene Chadwick is east in the role of a young woman who choses a hardworking and conscientious husband in place of a city man who might have given her all those pleasures which women so dearly love. Then follows the post-honeymoon period which is frought with just a little disillusionment and a rather sane if true, realisation of what marriage really means. Mack Sennett Comedy: “Be Reasonable,” prices 1/- and 1/6, children half-price. “A Clouded Name,” the Playgoers feature for Monday night is a beautiful love story in which the two young people suffer for the deeds of their parents, around whom hangs a cloud of disgrace. The picture features Norma Shearer, Gladden James and Yvonne Logn and was directed bv Austin O. Huhm. Prices 9d and 1/6, children as usual. “THREE WHO PAID.” To-night’s programme at the Town Hall contains two. big attractions, Dustin Farnum’s latest drama “Three who Paid,” and the Clyde Cook special comedy “Don’t Tickle.” In the drama the role of Riley Sinclair, around whom the play revolves, is well suited to Mr J'arnum. Bessie Love, the popular leading woman, is playing a dual role in this new gripping play •of justice which deals a lone hand. The title of the picture is derived from the three burly westerners who leave young Hal Sinclair helpless in the desert while they search for water. They pay the price when all three come to violent ends. 'ln “Don’t Tickle,” the now famous Australian contortionists, add comedian, Clyde Cook, has a picture of new situations, and surprising stunts served up with continuous and laughable action. Prices 9d and 1/6, children 3d and 6d. Cosmo Hamilton’s fine novel, “The Rustle of Silk,” has been transferred to the screen and will be the attraction at the Cabaret next Wednesday.
