BOWLING.
The Alanawatu Bowling Centre New Year rink tournament takes place at Palmerston N. on January Ist and 2nd. next, commencing at 9 a.m. each day. The first prize in this tournament will he four trophies of €2 2/- each, Banner and Stansell Shield (Centre), and second prize, four certificates. The entrance fee is 10/- each player, entries closing on Afonday, 24th December.
The Hamilton Bowling Tournament will lie held at Hamilton on January Bth 9th and 10th next. Entries close on the 29tli inst. This is the annual silver cup tourney for links. Particulars are given by poster in the local Club’s pavilion.
