PALMERSTON NORTH BOY SCOUTS.

TO CAMP ON FOXTON RACECOURSE. Captain Slipper and Mr R. S. Abraham, of Palmerston North, conferred with the Foxton Racing Club Committee in connection with a request on behalf of the Palmerston North Boy Scouts to hold a camp on the local racecourse from December 28th to January 7th. The course and dull appointments were inspected and with certain restrictions, the committee granted the use of the grounds and appointments to the scouts. Captain Slipper and-Mr Abraham expressed their appreciation of the committee’s generosity and assured them that the hoys, who will number 2AO. would not commit any act which would prejudice a like concession at a future date.
