SWIMMING NOTES.
Large numbers have continued to patronise the river during the week, morning, noon and evening, the water being ideal for swimming. During the week the club has erected another spring board, kindly donated to the club, on the bottom wharf, and this hoard is a great asset, those not daring to venture off the top hoard, freely using it. Last evening ‘‘stunts” were indulged in by members which proved highly amusing (to those on the bank). We are pleased to note that Air Davidson has commenced a swimming class. Mr Davidson deserves praise for commencing such a worthy task locally. The club badges ale to hand and the secretary advises members to procure same immediately. The badge is in the form of a shield a red background, having the JAB ters “F.S.C.” picked out in The badge is to be sewn on thefJSt hand side of the “togs.” Alembers should hurry up and decide what races they are going to compete in. Hand your names in to the secretary without delay.
