TRIBAL TRAGEDY
POMPEI TOMAHAWKES JULIUS CAESAR. Brisbane, November 21. The police have received news of a tribal tragedy at Long Pocket, wherein an aboriginal named Julius Caesar was fatally tomahawked by another native named Pompei. It is asserted that (he reason for the crime was that Caesar had murdered Pompei’s father some years ago.
