TOWN HALL, TO-NIGHT. William Farnnm's admirers have a feast in store for them at the Town Tin 11 to-night where “Without Compromise,” .starring the husky and handsome lie-man of the screen is being shown. ‘Without Compromise,” is a gripping red-blooded story (of the big timber country) through which runs a tender love theme. There is a mysterious murder, a big tight between two men on a log, which is being buffeted about in the torrent of a mountain stream and a dozen other big moments so characteristic of William Farnnm’s biggest successes. Tin l supporting cast, is exceptionally strong including such names as Lois Wilson and Robert McKim. “A Ranch Romeo,” a Sunshine comedy has been added to to-night’s programme, which is to he shown at usual prices, 9d and I/O with children 3d and fid. Hex I Wednesday “Java Head,” produced by George Melford, maker of “The Sheik,” and on Saturday, 24th, — Zip! and you’re off —thrills and fun aboard “The Fast Mail.” The only mile a minute picture yet caught by the camera. ROYAL PICTURES. The film version of Blaekmore’s famous novel “Lorna Doone,”.is .to be screened at the Royal Theatre to-niglit. Frank Keenan takes the role of Sir Ensor Doone, head of the outlaw hand, whose hard hearted nature is finally softened by Lorna. The setting of the picture is excellently portrayed neither time, nor expense being spared to obtain the first-class results. There is a strong supporting programme including a Mermaid comedy entitled “Free and Easy.” Also extra: “In the Days of Buffalo Bill.” Prices 1/- and 1/6 children half price. On Monday night “The Lure of Egypt,” with Claire Adams, Robert McKim, Joseph J. Dowling and a strong supporting cast, will be screened. This is a living romance amid the tombs of the dead, a vivid drama, a startling sensation and a fiery romance. Prices 9d and 1/6, children as usual.
