ENTERTAINMENTS.

“WITHOUT COMPROMISE'.” “Without Compromise” is the title of the most recent production starring William Farnum which will be seen at the Town Hall on Saturday-evening. It is a production of unusual dramatic quality affording the inimitable William Fnrnnm opportunity for big punchy moments. There is a great fight between Farnum and the bad man of the town, in which “Big Bill” puts over his trusty right, before the desperado’s trigger linger can operate. A wild ride on a log down a mountain torrent is another highlight in this thrilling picture. Notable names supporting Farnum in the cast are Lois Wilson, Robert. McKim, Tnlly Marshall and Alma. Bennett. Saturday’s Sunshine Comedy will tie “A Ranch Romeo”. Usual prices, 9d and 1/(5, children 3d and 6d. Next week will be a week of big pictures at the Town Hall. On Wednesday “Java Head,” from a famous novel by Joseph Hergesheimer will be screened whilst, on Saturday, the sensational speed drama, that starts with a rush runs into a romance and ends with a succession of thrills will be presented. Need we remind you dont miss “The Fast Mail”. ROYAL PICTURES. The many phases of the life of the girl of to-day are shown in “It Isn’t Being Dono This Season,” at. the Royal Theatre to-morrow night. Corinne Griffith, who is the star, portrays the life of the twentieth century girl in a manner that reflects her destiny and her place in (lie world as in a mirror. Here is shown the glamour of stage life, the routine of the stenographer, the adventures of the girl “in quest of the male,” and the romance of the fashion model. “It Isn’t Being Done This Season” is the story of a young girl who went into the world under the belief that no man was to be trusted. The code may be true enough—for the cynics—-but we are not all cynics, at least not so with the heroine of this story, so she was destined to leam —all men are not liars. Also a Harold Lloyd comedy entitled “Number Please.” Prices: 9d and 1/6, children as usual.
