BOWLING.

Yesterday afternoon at the local green was devoted mainly to the deciding of the second round of the Stevenson Pennants competition. Ideal weather prevailed, and the green was playing satisfactorily. With the exception of the match Nye and Healey v. Jno. Ross and Mattar, the second round was completed, the results being as follows: Stohr and Simpson 28, Smith and Winstanley 26. Roore and Whibley 30, Pearson and Hollings 27: Barr and Heasman 41, Walker and Downes 26. ■Christie and Thomson 31, Ball and Walton 26. Huntley and Adams a bye. Competitors in the Pennants Competition who have not yet paid their entrance fee are asked to do so before the third round is commenced.
