The second round of ihe Stovonson Pennants competition Avill commence to-morrow afternoon.
The draw for this round will he found posted in Iho Club’s pavilion. A communication has been received from tlie President of the AlamiAvatu Bowling Centre, advising that a lour b.v rinks representing dubs in the Centre Avill bo made to Wellington on Wednesday, sth December. The itinerary will he as follows: —Leave Palmerston N. on December sth. per Auckland express at 9.55 a.m. Play 'Wellington Club fi rinks, Victoria (i rinks, Wednesday afternoon, commencing at 2.30. Thursday (51 b, (i rinks play Tlmrndon, at 9.30 a.m., 6 links play Newtown at 9.30 a.m., match against Wellington Centre, 12 rinks, on Wellington green, at 2 p.m. Leave for Palmerston N. by express at fi p.m. It is requested that the Foxton Club be represented by one rink, to take part in all the games played, the Secretary to the Centre to be notified not later than 20th inst.
Wednesday of next week, 21st inst., has been set down as a visiting day to Foxton green under the arrangement of gala days for the season.
