UNITED EVAVNGELICAL MISSION.
TO COMMENCE ON SUNDAY EVENING.
For some weeks past, united prepa rnforv .meetings have been held by the local Anglican, Presbyterian and Methodist/ and flic Salvation Army in , connecfion with (he mission to be commenced by Mr W. .T. Mains in the Town Hall lit S o’clock to-morrow (Sunday) evening. The mission will eonlinne each night except Saturdays, until the 18th inst. The singing will lie led bv the combined choir under the eonductorship of Mr R. T. Betty. Mr Mains, the missioner, is an ex-business man, who has given his life and talents to evangelistic work without remuneration and is an eloquent speaker. The mission should attract large attendances.
The church services will be shortened in order to allow adherents to attend the mission.
