FOXTON SWIMMING CLUB.
A committee meeting of the ahove was held yesterday afternoon. II was decided that, owing to the unfavourable weather conditions, the opening day he postponed until the 12th December. Decided that Messrs Ball and J. Perrean he authorised to procure trophies for opening day sports. Decided that letters of appreciation be sent to Messrs Barr and Tyer, A. P. Easton, A. E. Admore and E. Healey for donating trophies to the club. Accounts were passed for payment and the meeting rose.
The club wish to acknowledge with thanks a donation from , the Mayor (Mr John Chrystall) of £2 2/-'.
