DEATH OF “OLD MOORE.”
London, October 27. Old Moore, of “Old Moore’s Almanack,” famous for liis prophecies, lias died at the age of 74. He was successively cowboy, jockey, actor, and journalist, and dually a lovable old man. Publishers guaranteed the circulation of his book of prophecies at nearly two millions. Critics point out that Old Moore did not prophesy his own death.
