THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day: The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong, with a southerly tendency. Weather cloudy to overcast at tangs with mild and hazy conditions. Barometer little movement. Beas and tides moderate.
The quarterly meeting of members of the iocai Beautifying Society is advertised to take place in the Presbyterian schoolroom on Thursday evening next at 7.30 o’clock. As the business to be discussed is of an important nature, ail members are requested to attend.
