Will the person who took cloth overcoat from Masonic Hall last night, by mistake, please return same to this office. Ratepayers are requested to attend a public meeting to be held on Friday evening next in the Town Hall supper-room to discuss the question of swimming baths. Particulars of train arrangements and issue of holiday • excursion tickets in connection with the Palmerston North A. and P. Show are advertised in this issue. Messrs Lay Bros, insei’t an advertisement in to-day’s issue. They stock only fresh fruit of the best quality and vegetables. Tinned fruit and confectionery, etc. also stocked. Mr A. Billens, photographer, of Levin, intimates that he is now accepting appointments for ’Xmas photographs. Intending patrons are requested to visit the Studio as early as possible.
