R ACING AT MASTER.TON. The Mastexton Spring meeting opened yesterday in rain and storm, the track resembling a swamp. There was a fair attendance. The following were the results: — High Weight Handicap:—Proclaim (ridden by J. Procter) 1, Nuknmai 2, Otanru Kid 3. Won by 3 lengths, with twelve lengths between second and third. Time 2.22 4-5. Maiden Stakes: —Last Crust 1, Hall Mark 2, Glaive 3. Won easily, pulling up. Time 1.23 3-5. Flying Handicap:—Lady Fingers 1, Kilris 2, Merry Day 3.- Won easily, heads separating the next three horses. Time 1.22 3-5.

Lawn Handicap:—Arizona. 1, Merry Queen 2, Zero Hour 3. Won easily by four lengths. Time 1.53. Masterton Cup:—Vagabond 1, Kilgour 2, Insurrection 3.
