WILLIAM FARNUM AT TOWN HALL. Human interest and pathos form the keynote of “Perjury,” the William Farmim special to be screened at usual prices at the Town Hall on Saturday evening next. Directed by Harry Millarde, who made the famous picture “Over the Hill,” this latest nine-reeler is hailed by critics as a masterpiece of compelling realism and wonderful acting. WillianfFarmim ns the wronged man forced to serve a twenty-year sentence, gives a poignant portrayal of grief and remorse suffered by Robert Moore, after misfortune has come upon his family as the result of his suspicion and jealousy. A special Sunshine Comedy: “The Milk-Fed Vamp,” is included as one of the supporting items in the big programme which reaches a length of 12,009 feet, Usual prices 9d and 1/6, children 3d and fid. ROYAL PICTURES. A triumph of fine acting in drama of great strength is recorded in “Flesh and Blood,” the First National picture to be screened,at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night, Lon Chaney is in the principal role arid Edith Roberts is the pretty daughter. A fine supporting east has been assembled and the. settings are unique, particularly those of- the Chinese underworld. The picture depicts the sensational escape of a convict, to secure revenge for a wrongful sentence imposed on him. Lon Chaney, the man of a thousand faces, is seen at. his best in this production, The picture contains thrill after thrill for you. On Saturday Doug. Fairbanks, in “One of the Blood,” will be screened.
