PLUNKET SOCIETY.
The monthly meeting of the above was held yesterday. Present: Mesdames F. Robinson (acting president), Pearson, Hynes, Trueman, Christie, Walton, Wyllie, Owen, A. Ross and MeMurray. Apologies for absence were recejved from Mesdames Chrystall and Cowley. The Nurse’s report showed: — Visits to Foxtou, 3; visits to homes, 9; adults to office, 24; babies to office, 32; new cases, 3. EmulsioA given to mothers, 21bs. A vote ol' thanks was accorded Mrs Pearson (vice-president) for her efforts on behalf of the Society’s funds, the amount of £l4 3s being handed in. Thanks are also due to Mr and Mrs Nattrass, Mrs Hynes, and many others who bought tickets and handed them hack to he re-soid, Mrs F. Robinson was appointed flower steward for the month.
