THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day: - The indications are for northerly winds, strong to gale at times and backing by west to south. Expect dull weather with much, mist and fog in parts, Heavy rain is to he expected and weather will probably become colder shortly. The barometer has a falling tendency, but rising shortly. Seas rough, tides low.
