(To The Editor). Sir, —Could you or any of your readers inform me whether the artesian water is detrimental to young plants. I watered some from this, source of supply and a large number died. —Yours etc. RESIDENT. [UPON enquiry, the Town Clerk informs us that for young plants the right temperature of the artesian water should be obtained by running off a quantity into some receptacle and allowing it to stand before applying it to the plants.]
