A strange find was made by the owner of a motor car the other morning (relates the Oamaru Mail). It was the discovery of a number of unopened letters addressed 1o a business man who formerly owned the car. The letters bear post marks dating back to hs far as 1014, and in the interval the ear lias changed hands several times. What the feelings of the writers of those hidden missives may have been at not receivng replies may be imagined, but if they still live and learn the truth they will be able ..to appreciate the fact that it is not always the fault of the post office when answers to letters despatched are not forthcoming.
