Buxton, Dominion lecturer ami organiser to (he New' Zealand Farmers’ Union, has just completed a tour of the Ma.nnwalu district, lecturing to the primary producers on meal control, butter control, banking, shipping, etc, He met with a very good reception, several new branches of the Farmers’ Union being formed; and the net result -if his mission was the addition of upwards of 200 farmers to the membership of the. union. Mr Buxton is to leave Wellington on Wednesday lor the South Island and will visit the. West Coast and later Otago and S<mt bland.
