Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 13th September, 1923: — “The following prices are current for average farmers’ lots at the sales now proceedings; Greasy Merinos 23d to 29d per lb; scoured Merinos 4/2 per lb; greasy super half-lii-eds, sG’s, 22d to 27d per lb; do. fine, 50/50’s, 18d to 21d per lb; do. lialfbreds, 48/50’s, 13d to 15d per Hi.; do. fine crossbreds, 46/48’s 12d to 13d per lb; do. medium crossbreds, 44/4G’s, 10Id to Hid per lb; do. coarse, 40/44’s, 9id to 10id per lb.; do. low, 36/40’s, B.jd to 93d per lb; do. crossbred pieces, Sd to 9id per II); do. Bellies, 8d to 8:(d per lb; do. locks 5d to sld per lb,”
