THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day:— The indications are for variable and strong breezes, but northerly winds, moderate to strong prevailing and freshening, and backing by north to west. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled with rain following. The barometer has a falling tendency. Seas moderate swell, tides good.
