VACANCY ON FIRE BOARD.
CR. COLEY APPOINTED.
At last night’s Council meeting Cr Coley was unanimously elected to the vacancy on the Foxton Fire Board rendered vacant by the resignation of the Mayor. r £he Mayor congratulated Cr. Coley on his appointment and said that he hoped he would keep his eye on the expenditure. ' Cr. Coley said that he would be fair and do the best in the interests of the town.
