ENTERTAINMENTS.

ROYAL PICTURES. “The Flirt,” which is appearing at the Royal Theatre to-morrow night has been characterised as one of the greatest pictures of the year by those who have seen it. Not only is it considered to be the film masterpiece of Hobart Henley, who directed it, but it is praised because of its humanness and the fidelity with which Tarkington’s characters have been transferred to the screen. Eileen Percy and Helen Jerome Eddy, the featured players in “The Flirt,” will find themselves established as actresses’, of the highest quality when this picture has had its coun-try-wide showings. Several other players are destined to become famous by reason of their work in this production. Among them are George Nichols and Buddy Messenger. Comedy “Who Kissed Me.” An excellent programme. Make a point of seeing D. W. Griffith’s great production “Dream Street,” on Friday night. Also James Oliver Curwood’s “The Man from Hell’s River.” A thrill from beginning to end, screened on Saturday night. “THE IMPOSSIBLE MRS BELLEW.”

At the Town Hall Cabaret tomorrow evening, Gloria Swanson will appear in “The Impossible Mrs Bellew.” In this feature the glorious Gloria is at her resplendent best. As the mother whom slanderous tongues have robbed of her child and happiness, she was never poignantly appealing. As the gay daring leader of Moute Carlo society, she was never so lavishly gowned. During the film Miss Swanson wears fifty different gowns which were imported from Paris for the picture. Many of the scenes were taken at Deauville, French society’s famous playground, and home of the one-piece bathing suit. Conrad Nagel and June Elvidge are in the cast. “Torchy’s Double Triumph” is the comedy. Usual Cabaret prices.

On Saturday night “Skirts,” the sensational comedy riot in six reels, which makes a feature of sensational stunts and vaudeville novelties, will be screened. Besides a

circus, warships, submarine and aeroplanes, 3,000 bathing girls appear in some scenes.
