The High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 4th inst. reads: —“Hemp, Manila market firmer. ‘J’ grade, August-October shipments sold at £3O 15s, now quoted at £3l buyers. New Zealand market nominally unchanged. Business reported in Fair spot at £3l. Sellers ask £33 Good Fair,”
