GIRL’S BRAVERY REWARDED. AFTER. TWENTY-FIVE YEARS. Twenty-five years ago a young lady named Miss Clara Beckwortli, heard cries for help and rushing in the direction of the voice, found a man struggling in the water. Without hesitation she plunged bravely in and brought the man safely asliore. The name of the rescued man was Theodore Tibbetts, a wealthy leather manufacturer, of Lynn, Massachusetts. Miss Beckwortli is now Mrs Clara May Miller. She had almost forgo! lon her feat of 25 years ago till a letter reached her the other day. The letter was from Mr Tibbett’s solicitors and informed her that Mr Tibbetts had died and had left her £50,000.
