SAVE MONEY—NOW!

“What sort of a sale are you having?” was the question asked a drapery manager in Foxton recently. “We are having a good time,” was the reply, “hut the public arc having a much better time than we are." “1 suppose you are aware that twelve months ago we changed over from a credit business to cash trading? The change over enables us to sell at a much lower rate of profit and lias been much appreciated. Firms giving unlimited credit can not possibly give the values we offer. Our sale is now drawing to a close, in fact finishes on Saturday, and we hope to make this week a record one. If giving more than value for money will do it, consider it done! Take the dress department for instance. Here you can buy 56 inch Colouial Tweeds at 7/11, mill price 8/9 to-day, and look at these chevrons, honestly worth 12/6, all to go at 7/11. They are very useful for children’s and mains' coats, costumes or skirts. You have no doubt heard of our wonderful crepe values. This range in 12 excellent shudes worth 1/11 yard is to go at 1/3. Wonderful values are to be found in our showroom. Knitted jumpers and dresses are most comfortable and fashionable introduced for years, all to go out at half their value. We have still three fur coats left and the ladies fortunate enough to secure these will feel satisfied for years to come. These are on offer from £ll 11s. The same bargains prevail in other departments. This week we offer exceptional values in hosiery and quote one line only for comparison. Ws. Lovat Mixture hose, 3/11 for 1/11. Laces, ribbons and scarves are all marked down for the last week of sale. The last few days offords a great opportunity to lay in a stock of Manchester goods in sheetings, towels, flannels, ilannelettes, blankets and Household furnishings are also in for a good time as the whole of our linoleums, window curtains, cretonnes, carpet runners and mats are further reduced. Men and hoys are not overlooked in our closing days In the department will be found piles of seasonable goods such as suits and shirts, jerseys, hose, overcoats, ties and underwear ail at big reductions to effect a clearance. Our policy is to clear out all season’s goods before taking down stocks and customers have the baiauce of this week to make their purchases and save money. We scarcely ueed mention that the firm is The G. M. Ross Coy., Foxton, the store for value, quality and service. ’
