FOXTON BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY.

A committee meeting of the above was held last night. There was a good attendance presided over by Mr Perreau (president). The committee decided not to agree to the terms of the letter received from the Borough Council re expenditure of £SO towards the formation of a new football ground. It was unanimously decided not to proceed with any further new work on Easton Park until the Borough Council had reviewed their arrangement with the Foxton Football piub re playing football on the Park. It was decided to wait on the Foxton Racing Club Committee with a view to enlisting their cooperation re beautifying a piece of waste land adjoining °tlie racecourse at the north entrance to the town It was decided to place four seats in Easton Park. Several other. matters were discussed and decided upon.
