Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 13th June, 1923: “Quotations New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 28/42, ll}d; North Island lamb, 28/42, Hid; prime Canterbury mutton, 56/04, 8d: North Island mutton, 56/64, 8d; ewes, 48/64, 5Jd; New Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220, hinds sd; fores 2|d. “These prices are ex-store. As compared with last week’s quotations, lamb and hinds of beef are unchanged, mutton and ewes pi per lb. cheaper, fores of beef id per lb. cheaper.”
