OTAKI MEETING. The Otaki meeting was held on Saturday and yesterday in unfavourable weather conditions. First day’s results: —Tararua Hurdles : First Born, Nukumai, Militaire, won by four lengths. Time 3.30. luiku Maiden: —Equador, Tinoliari, Mountain Signal. Won by a length, time. 1.22. Waitohu Hack: —Treadwell, I’he Emperor, Ihapatoa. Won by a length, time 1.23 3-5. Raukawa Cupßitters, Tame Fox, Lady Ben. Won by half a length. Time 2.24. Otaki Ha ek Han dieap:—Mega ii , Parorangi, Santiago. Won by two lengths, time 1.55. Taipua Handicap: —Solfanello, Passionless. Won by head, time 1.24. Te Moro -Hack Welter:—Solferino, Good Mark, Kyoto. IV on by a length. SECOND DAY. Pukehou Hurdles :-y—First Born, Crowlmrst, Nukumai. Won by four lengths, |ime 3.20. Tginui Hack: —Equador, Atapo, Stream. Won by a length.
Huia Handicap: —Tame Fox, Demos, Correspondent. Won by a length, time 2.3. Rangiuru Hack: —Megan, Stream, Merry Queen. Won by a head. Raimi Handicap: —Santonio, Passionless, Ireland. Won by a length, time 1.27 1-5.' a Ohau Welter: Patuki, Parorangi, Happy Days. VV r on by a neck, time 2.12-5. ' Waikanae Hack: Tinolian, Mountain Signal, Elvaette, Won by two lengths, time 1.14. Totalisator results for both days totalled £37,800, as against £39,832 last year.
