SIKI AND HIS LION.

A sensation was caused recently at a select dancing hall in Palis when suddenly a black man appeal - ed. at the door, accompanied by a lion. It was Siki. Wild confusion ensued; the jazz‘hand bolted; most of the fox-trotters made for the door at the other end of the hall. Others took refuge under the tables. Meanwhile Siki stood fondling hi.> pet and smiling broadly. Later, when it was found that the lion was on a chain, the dancers emerged from under tlie tables and when confidence was fully restored they lionised the two lions the black and the fawn.
