VANDALISM IN EASTON PARK.
Crs. Geo. Coley and Adams, brought into the editorial sanctum this morning a quantity of broken shrubs which they had discovered on Easton Park this morning as evidence of acts of vandalism, which is taking place there. Both gentlemen expressed their feelings in somewhat forcible language. The good work done by the Beautifying Society is being destroyed and we were informed that horses and cows are being turned into the reserve at such hours which prevent detection by owners. Cr. Coley said that donations were promised for making attractive, but this sort of thing would prevent any financial assistance. One of the concrete posts had also been damaged.
