WHIRLWIND AT HOKITIKA.
RACECOURSE BUILDINGS, DAMAGED.
Hokitika, May 25.
A whirlwind passed over portion of the town this morning. Some damage was done to the racecourse buildings, the whole of the rooling of the totalisator house being lifted in the air and smashed to pieces. Other damage was also done.
