THE DAIRY INDUSTRY.

The dairy pay-outs for the past month are as follows: — Awn him 1/4, Kairanga 1/4, Newbury 1/6, New Zealand Dairy Union 1/2 for whole cream, 1/- for whey butter; Shannon Dairy Factory 1/7, Reliance Factory 1/-, Rnvenswood 1/-, Tiakitnlnina 1/. The month of April has seen a continuation of the well maintained supply experienced this Autumn, and although there has been a decrease in intake at local district factories consequent upon the lateness of the season, the figures are said to be above those experienced for some time. No doubt a decline wilPbe registered within the next few weeks due to “drying oft’” process of many farmers.
