DEXEDIX AMATEUR HEARS MESSAGE AT 8,000 MILES.
X)imediiiy Last Xiglifc. The Auckland message about wireless receiving from America pales beside the record of a Dunedin amateur , Mr R. Slade, who using only one valve, hears every night American amateur stations sending on less than one hundred watts. One station, 8,000 miles away, sending on 39 watts was picked up distinctly.
