“A CERTAIN RICH MAN.’
This production featuring three of the most prominent actors on the screen, Robert MeKim, Joseph Dowling and Claire Adams, will lie presented at the Town Hall to-night, 'flic picture which has been adapted from William Allen White’s novel of the same name is so vital and human, it rings so true and hits so to the live?; of hundreds of* individual* that if is universal in appeal. A cast of 17 principals appear in the important roles, which has necessitated dividing the picture into three distinct parts or epochs. The dramatic side will appeal to all. Prices are as usual.
“MADAME X" AT THE ROYAT TO-NIGHT.
“Madame X,” the most famous -Inge play in twenty years has been adapted to the screen by Goldwyn with Pauline Frederick in ihe titlerole and appears at the Royal Theatre to-night. The picture grips and thrills in every sequence as it builds slowly but surely to the great climax, the trial scene where the son defends the mother, neither knowing Ihe identity of the other. Comedy: “A Charmed Life,” and extra: “Robinson Crusoe.” “The Loves of Letty." showing at Royal on Monday night also stars Pauline Frederick. This picture is adapted from Sir Arthur V ing Pinero’s play. Il depicts the life of a poor girl and shows how tiials strengthen her character, enabling her to rise above the wreck.
