The following arrangements have been made by the Executive of the Man a watu Centre for the Champion of Champions contest: — ~ j. Rinks: —Terrace End Green 9.30 a.m. Saturday, May 12th. ‘ Pairs: —Manawnlu Green Wednesday, May 16th, 9.30 a.m. Singles: Palmerston X. Green Saturday, May 19th, 9.30 a.m. The secretary of the local club has received the following communication from the Palmerston X. Bowling Clnt). — “My .committee have very great pleasure in requesting that one link from your club he present on the \ dosing day of the Palmerston X. Bowling Club on Saturday, the 12th inst. “The play will take the form of a short Tournament of five games of five heads each game, the winners to receive a small trophy. “T would especially esteem it a favour if you would let me have vour replv on or before Friday, the nib inst., so that arrangements can lie made and play commence promptly at 1 o’clock.
