LOAN POLL REVERSED.
Wanganui, This Day. The borough council’s £IOO,OOO loan for water extension, which the preliminary count on the night of the municipal election was declared carried by 20 votes, turns out on an oilicial recount to have been lost by 57 votes. A large number of votes were accepted on the official scrutiny as valid.
