FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. RESOLUTION STRIKING RATE. Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in if by Sections 77, 78, 7b, 82, and 83 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” Sections 41 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1908,” and Sections 4«8 to 55 of “The Rating' Act, 1908,” and their respective amendments (if any), the Foxton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a General Rate of fourpence and twenty-one thirty-seconds of a penny in the £, a Library Rate of one-eighth of a penny in the .£, a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of three-eigh-ths of a penny in the £, on the unimproved value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, and a Water Supply Rate of six pounds per cent, on the annual value of all land and buildings to which water is supplied where the annual value exceeds the sum of Twelve pounds ten shillings and a mimimum charge of ten shillings on all land and buildings to which water is supplied, the annual value of which does not exceed twelve pounds ten shillings, also a water supply rate of one-half the above amounts on all land and buildings situated within one hundred yards from any water main to which water can be> but is not supplied, also a .Sanitation Fee of seventeen shillings per pan on all house property in the Nightsoil Area not connected with the drainage system, such rates and satitation fee to be for a period commencing on the Ist April, 1923, and terminating on the 31st March, 1924r<he said rates to be d'ue and payable in one sum on the 23rd of May, 1923, the sanitation fee to be payable in two amount of eight shillings and sixpence each on the 23rd May, 1923, and the 23rd November, 1923, at the Town Clerk’s office, Main Street, Foxton, also that a discount of 2i per cent. lie allowed off all rates (sanitation fee excepted) paid in full on or before the 23rd dnv of June 1923.
