Mayoral Election. To the Electors. LADIES & GENTLEMEN: I had intended addressing you again at a Public Meeting advertised for Tuesday, but illness has suddenly overtaken me, and the Doctor forbids it. 1 can therefore only address you through the Press again, as I am going on with the fight. If elected. I shall pursue a progressive policy, including : JL Opening of the Port of Foxton to shipping to promote business expansion and prosperity. 2. Better Roads and Footpaths. 3. Improved Street Fighting. 4. Completion of Water and Drainage, with necessary improvements. 3. Public Fibrary and Reading Room, and Rest Room for Women. 6. Public Swimming Baths. 7. Right of Football Club to Easton Park. 8. Assistance and encouragement of Town Band. 9. To make Foxton Healthy, Attractive and Prosperous. As the nature of my illness will prevent me from rushing about on Election Day, I am relying on my friends finding their own way to the Poll. ROLL UP ON THURSDAY AND VOTE FOR PROGRESS AND FOR P. F.
