FIRE BRIGADE.
The usual monthly meeting of the Foxton Fire Brigade was held in Perreau’s rooms on Tuesday night, Deputy Naltrass occupying the chair. There was a fair attendance of brigadesmen present.
A Idler was received from the l'’ire Board enclosing' boot allowance due Id the brigade. Messrs Hamer and Nat trass moved that the boot allowance received he distributed in proportion to each individual meiueber in accordance with their service.—Carried. The matter ot' surplus funds from Mr Pi .mkland’s donation was held over till next meeting. Mr A. Brown was elected a member of the brigade. Deputy Nat trass gave notice of his intention to propose two lion, members, Messrs Smith and Bough, at the next meeting, also that (lie Brigade rales be amended so as to allow I hem to elect lion, members at (lie animal subscription of 10/- per a nnum. It was decided that the brigade parade on Anzac Day in uniform
