He dealt at length with tin' advantages of combined buying for feed supplies and ltie creation of a fund during the coming three to five years by a levy of one sixth of a. penny per dozen to enable the co-operators to do its own buying and distributing, instead of operating through the grain merchants as at present. A general discussion followed and a number of questions were asked and answered. The feeling of the meeting was in favour of the proposals and a number <d' those present joined. The question of forming a local circle was deferred in the meantime. The usual voles of thanks eoneluded a very interesting and instructive, meeting.
